About

Skribana

As a sociologist and anthropologist, I've worked several years in the academic world and the NGO sector. Within these international environments I’ve built extensive expertise in research work, writing and translating of (academic) articles and texts for websites and social media. Besides that I was involved with Amnesty International as a volunteer on women's rights for ten years.

After working several years as an academic researcher, I decided in 2017 to become a fulltime freelance translator and so have started Skribana.

Being passionate about language and societal issues, I mainly focus on social sciences, culture, government and (national, European and international) policy, NGO's, legal translations, and academic documents.
